Petite table lamp is a revival of 1960s Italian forms with a postmodern twist. "Venus harkens back to Grace Jones in the '80s vibe," the designer explains. Sculpted from solid Marquina black marble, sharp angular base supports a solid blackened iron stem and softly domed shade. Using materials that are cool to the touch, the designer contrasts basic geometric shapes that reflect postmodern motifs. Honed marble is punctuated with crisp white veining that makes each fixture unique.
